What clients say about Andy?

“Andy is politically astute and very good at understanding and handling difficult situations... Andy is open to critical feedback and adapts his approach accordingly; openly recognises the contribution of others and consults widely; strategically aware of wider issues around his area of work; and, gives direction and insight focused on specific deliverables while refraining from micro-management'' DFID feedback on Andy's work.

'' Thanks to your passion, hard-work and professionalism, we have been able to move together and make a difference in creating this important Fund for the region and indeed the world'  Professor Wangari Maathai, Co-Chair of the Congo Basin Forest Fund.

''I am writing on behalf of the Environmental Audit Committee to thank you for all you did to facilitate and support our visit to Cameroon. We found the visits made to the field, so ably managed by you and Serge, to be crucial in enriching our understanding of the practical problems in addressing deforestation. We were particularly grateful to benefit from your expertise not only in the forestry sector but also  in government policy, in both Cameroon and the UK''. Tim Yeo MP, Chairman, Environmental Audit Committee, Government of UK.

“Andy’s management style is worthy of special note, as this has encapsulated very effectively the fundamental thrust of the Project in terms of adopting participatory processes at all levels. This management style has been instrumental in contributing to a strong sense of national ownership of the process in all three countries, with positive consequences for institutional sustainability'' Evaluation of FAO project managed by Andy.
